Cevat Yerli has provided some insight in regards to how the PS4 and Xbox 720 launch games will compare to “Crysis 3” in terms of graphics. According to a report by ComputerAndVideoGames on Feb 8, the CEO of Crytek believed that the first set of next-generation video games that will be coming out within the launch window might not look too different from the latest video game in the “Crysis” series. You can check out some screens from “Crysis 3,” as well as some fan made PS4 and Xbox 720 concept images, in the slideshow at the top of this article. The comments from Cevat Yerli can be found below (courtesy of ComputerAndVideoGames):
I actually think people will be astonished that next gen launch titles from other companies might not be much different from Crysis 3.
“Crysis 3” is currently being developed by Crytek Frankfurt with Crytek UK handling the multiplayer portion of the video game. The first-person shooter is slated to launch for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on Feb. 19. You can pre-order the title in the following link: “Crysis 3”
The PS4 and Xbox 720 next-generation systems should launch in North America in late 2013.
