PS4 and Xbox 720 graphics and release dates compared by ‘Dragon Age 3’ publisher (Photos)

Electronic Arts, the publisher behind the upcoming “Dragon Age 3,” has provided several comparisons between the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by the NeoGAF forum on Feb. 26, the company told investors that the two next-generation systems have a comparable ratio in terms of graphics. Furthermore, they believed that the PS4 and Xbox 720 would be launching “very close” to each other. You can check out some images of “Dragon Age 3” and the PS4 accessories in the slideshow at the top of this article.

The PS4 was first announced by Sony during their Playstation Meeting press conference on Feb. 20. The next-generation system is slated to come out in the North American region sometime during this holiday season. The Xbox 720 should be released at around the same time if Electronic Arts is correct with their assumption.

“Dragon Age 3” is currently in development at Bioware using the Frostbite 2 game engine, which is also being used for the upcoming “Battlefield 4.” Although Electronic Arts has not yet announced which platforms the role-playing game will be released on, there is a strong possibility that it will end up on next-generation systems.
