PS Plus subscribers get 'Darksiders' free on the Playstation 3 this week

Sony announced Monday another free treat coming for Playstation Plus subscribers in North America. "Darksiders" will be available to download for free from PSN this week.

"Darksiders" will be available for Playstation Plus subscribers to download for free as part of the Playstation Store update planned for Tuesday Jan. 15. It joins "NBA Jam: On Fire Edition", "Mega Man 9" and "Mega Man 10" which were added as free downloadable titles to the Instant Game Collection at the very end of December.

Also coming with "Darksiders" this week is half of PS Vita space shooter, "Stardrone Extreme." This tiny shooter will be available to purchase at just $2 for PS Plus subscribers and while it is $3.99 for everyone else.

Sony also announced that "inFamous 2" was accidentally removed from the PS Plus Instant Game Collection last week. It will return on Tuesday when the Playstation Store is updated.
