Stay at home moms need to be proud of what they do. Raising your children is the greatest job you can do. Stay at home moms are the rock of the family. They take care of everybody in the family, they take care of the home, they usually pay the bills, buy everything that the family and home needs.
Most stay at home moms have probably had those moments where someone ask them, “What do you do for a living?” Then you tell them that you are a stay at home mom and they are just like “That’s nice” or something along those lines. I’m sure you dread those moments, but you shouldn’t. You should say that you have the greatest job in the world, that you are the rock of the family and that you wouldn’t change it for anything.
Some people won’t understand how you would want to stay home and not have a “career”. They don’t see that being a mom is a career to some women. That’s okay that they don’t understand they don’t have too. Just don’t let what they say get to you. You know that what you do is the greatest thing in the world. That is all that matters.
