Peace groups will be protesting the war in Afghanistan today in Colorado Springs and Denver. The rallies are set to take place before and after President Obama’s speech on the new strategy for the Afghan war.
General Petraeus called for 30,000 more troops to effectively get a handle on the war. President Obama who recently won the Nobel Peace Prize has received much criticism for still being in two wars.
Currently thirty-three Fort Carson soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan. The Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center will be having a rally at the state Capitol in Denver on Wednesday night.

Obama should be denied the Noble Peace Prize on December 10th. It would be a rare and strong pubic statement from this organization. Please send emails with your opinion to the Nobel Organization.
