Protection from envy

Power of envy
Hasnaa 40

Some people practice the envy intentionally and harm others; they think by negative ways with envy and look by envious eyes (evil eyes) towards their victims’ health, wealth and success, etc.

People who practice the envy lose their good dead and increase their sins because they could not control their act of envy. They need to say the name of God Allah to control their behaviors of envy.

Additionally, Muslims believe that everything under control of Allah. Some victims of envy knock on the wood or use items of blue color, but these traditions do not protect them from envy, and the only one who can protect them from envy is the God Allah.

In the story of the prophet Joseph, Jacob’ sons went to Egypt, and Jacob afraid about them from envy because they were group of 11 men (brothers of Joseph); he told them in the translated verse of the Quran:

“O my sons! Enter not all from one gate: You enter by different gates." (quran.com/12/17-100).

Entering from different gates would not protect Jacob’ sons from envy, God Allah protected them. Muslims read the Arabic Holy Book Quran specially the three chapters 112,113 and 114 to have Allah protection against envy and unseen such as Iblis.

Quran, chapter 112 (Al- Ikhlas) Transliteration (Arabic):

[“Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, Allahu Alssamad, lam yalid walam yoolad, walam yakun Lahu kufuwan ahad."]

Translated verse: “Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetes not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like unto Him." (Yusuf Ali, quran.com/112)

Quran, chapter 113 (Al-Falak) transliteration (Arabic):

[“Qul aAAoothu Birabbi alfalaqi, min sharri ma khalaka, wamin sharri ghasiqin itha waqba, wamin sharri alnnafathati fee alAauqadi, waminshari hasidin itha hasad”]

Translated verse: “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, from the mischief of created things; from the mischief of Darkness as it overspread; from mischief of those who practice secret arts: and from of the envious one as he practices envies." (Yusuf Ali, quran.com/113)

Quran, chapter 114 (An-Nas) transliteration (Arabic):

[“Qul aAAothu Birabbi alnnasi, Maliki alnasi, Allahi alnnasi, min sharri alwaswasi alkhannasi, allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoori alnnasi, mina aljinnati wa alnnas”]

Translated verse: “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord (and Cherish-er) of Mankind, the king (or Ruler) of Mankind, the God (Allah) (or judge) of Mankind, - from the mischief of the whisperer (of evil), who withdraws (after his whisper), - (the same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind, - among Jinn and among men.” (Yusuf Ali, quran.com/114)

So, Muslims believe that protection from envy, witchcraft and evil behaviors can be achieved by remembering of Allah and reading the Holy Book Quran specially these three chapters 112, 113 and 114 transliterations (Arabic).
