ProsperUS Detroit and Entrepreneur Training Classes

Vanguard Community Development Corporation in partnership with ProsperUS Detroit will be offering training classes this winter/spring for entrepreneurs looking to take their small business to the next level.

Interested entrepreneurs can attend the free Entrepreneur Information Session, taking place at the Vanguard CDC offices located at 2795 East Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI 48211 on Tuesday, February 4 from 6-8 pm. Entrepreneurs who want to continue the process will be asked to fill out an application and be contacted for interviews before being accepted into the ProsperUS Training Program. The 20-week training course, begins Tuesday, February 25, and includes 12 classes and multiple opportunities for one-on-one sessions in the off-week.

ProsperUS Detroit provides scholarships for low to moderate-income individuals. Note entrepreneurs regardless of their business level are welcome to apply. Vanguard is also looking for entrepreneurs who are looking to open or locate their business in the Grand+Woodward Corridor.

Please note the Training Program is currently only available to residents of Detroit.
