For a guy projected to go in the top five of the 2010 NFL Draft, Okung hasn’t received a ton of publicity in his college career. Underscored by the that I cannot seem to find a picture of him anywhere on the internet. However he is definitely a premier athlete, and will be guarding the blindside of a NFL QB for years to come.
He has the long arms that NFL teams covet, and uses them to handle pass rushers. He also has the quickness and agility to protect the corner from edge speed rushes. He has exceptional footwork, and seems to have all the tools to dominate at the next level.
With his strong footwork he can slide past pass rush moves, and use his flexibility and speed to lead perimeter runs. It seems Okung is the total package and any team looking to protect their franchise QB will take a long look at him.
