According to the report, Suleman has been charged with three felony counts of welfare fraud and faces over five years in prison if convicted on all counts. The complaint reads:
While applying for public aid, the mother of 14 children allegedly failed to disclose that she was also getting checks for personal appearances and residuals from videos. She allegedly failed to report the extra income she earned between Jan. 1, 2013, and June 30, 2013.
The 38-year-old mother of 14 -- all of them via in vitro fertilization and eight of them as octuplets -- filed for public assistance in Lancaster in January 2013.
Suleman, who earned the nickname Octomom after details about the birth of her octuplets became known, will be arraigned Friday in a downtown courtroom where prosecutors are expected to ask for bail to be set at $25,000.
Suleman has had financial troubles in the past. To make ends meet, she has made public appearances -- including stripping -- and also a masturbation video.
