Here's a picture we just received of Beatles promoter Sid Bernstein with Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles at the Broadway on Broadway event today in Times Square.
Rain will sing "Hey Jude" at the event at 1:30 p.m. ET to climax the event. You can read more about it here.

Who doesn't love Sid Bernstein?!? A true gentleman!
How was the number of 50,000 people figured? I mean, I would have thought there would have been a lot more than 100 people at the Lincoln Memorial singalong unless that was a ticketed event. It wasn't clear to me when I was reading the article.
In any case, I hope there was a huge crowd. I was there in spirit.
