Project Trainwreck? Lindsay Lohan wants her own reality show

Perhaps reasoning that her public and private life is already a tabloid trainwreck, and that she might as well be compensated for it, Lindsay Lohan is planning to star in a reality TV series about her attempts to re-establish herself in her chosen profession. I'm talking about acting, not DJing.

According to Fox News, Lohan has sought the counsel of Larry Rudolf, Britney Spears's manager, on the best way to fast-track the project.

Rudolf is "helping Lohan with a potential reality show that will encapsulate her trials and tribulations as she gets back on her feet and actually becomes a working actress again," according to a source.

No word on whether her on-again, off-again lesbian lover Samantha Ronson will take part in the prospective gawk-fest.

The Lohan family is no stranger to reality TV, with Lindsay's mother Dina and sister Ali having appeared in the more than a little creepy "Living with the Lohans" on E! in 2008. The low-rated series detailed Dina's attempts to groom LiLo's little sister to follow in big sister's footsteps: you know, fame, fortune, anorexia, rehab...

Earlier in the decade, Michael Lohan, Lindsay's estranged father, had been pitching a reality series about the family, but his incarceration, and the fact he was persona non grata with the Lohan women,  torpedoed that idea in a quick hurry.

Possible titles for Lindsay's reality show allegedly include "Lindsay: Fully Loaded," "Dude, Where's My Career?," "The L Word," "Survivor: Hollywood Hills," and "American Firecrotch."
