‘Project Runway’ stars to judge at Mondo Guerra’s Goodwill Fashion Show

“Project Runway: All Star” winner Mondo Guerra is teaming up with his local Denver, Colorado Goodwill for an evening of fashion and charity- and he’s bringing fellow “Project Runway” fashion designers Fallene Wells, Peach Carr, and Michael Costello along with him.

Taking part in this third annual Goodwill Exchange for Change Fashion Show & Clothing Swap is a way of coming full circle for Mondo Guerra. The thirty four year old fashion designer famously got his start in designing by upcycling Goodwill clothes as a child. Now he’s headlining an event where he, and his colleagues, will be judging student designs that utilize these same skills.

The evening will feature collections of repurposed Goodwill clothing from student designers. Guerra, Carr, Wells, and Costello will be seated front row to judge the designs as they come down the runway.

"I love being a part of the annual Goodwill Good Exchange for Change and Fashion Show,” said Mondo Guerra in a press release about the event. “It showcases the talent of these incredible young designers while supporting Goodwill's important work in our community."

Attendees of the show are encouraged to bring items of clothing to swap. The swap will take place directly after the show. Fashion show attendees are encouraged to bring up to ten items to exchange and to take part in the swap. VIP ticket holders will also have a chance to meet and talk with the “Project Runway” designers before the show.

This evening of fashion and fundraising will be held from 5:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Exdo Event Center in Denver on February 7. There are still a limited number of tickets available online. Tickets can be purchased for $25, or $50 for VIP passes, online here. All of the money raised from ticket sales will go towards Goodwill’s community based programs in Colorado. Goodwill helps on average more than twenty thousand Coloradans each year.

“Project Runway,” the reality television fashion competition that brought Guerra, Peach Carr, Fallene Wells, and Michael Costello to national attention is currently in its eleventh season and can be seen every Thursday night at 9:00 on the Lifetime Television Network.
