Project Runway contestant from Cleveland to host fashion shows at Kent State

Are you a “Project Runway” fan? If so, you’re most likely familiar with designer Stephen Baum, who is better known as Suede. He was a contestant on the fifth season of Project Runway and made it to the final five. Suede, a Kent State alumnus, and Cleveland native, will return to his alma mater this Saturday to put on two entertaining fashion shows and partake in a meet and greet with fans.

During his visit, he will debut his new line of patterns and fabrics, called SUEDEsays. The fashion shows are free and will go on in the Rockwell Hall auditorium on Kent State’s campus. The first show is to start at 1:00pm, and the second at 3:30pm, simply giving those interested in attending two chances at catching his presentation. As a bonus to fashion fans, in between the two fashion show presentations, Suede will host a meet and greet.
