The unconventional challenge returned and with it, awesome creativity and innovation from the designers. But the surprises did not begin there, at first two members from team Keeping It Real were chosen by the Dream Team to come over to their team to even out the numbers and one member from the latter went to the former.
Layanna Aguilar and Stanley Hudson moved from the winning team over to the losing team and Michelle went to the other group. Then, it was time to reveal this week’s challenge and it involved the always fun and surprising unconventional items, this season involved flowers and materials found in a hardware store.
And when it was time for the runway show, Heidi Klum pointed out that there was not a losing team, but rather a winning team and an almost winning team, and to their relief the Dream Team finally pulled out their first win. Bette Midler who was the guest judge applauded both teams for their creativity and ability to turn items so basic into beautiful and elegant designs.
Then it was time to eliminate a member from the almost winning team, and despite all members pointing out that Amanda should go home, at the end it was Joseph who was sent home because his outfit was the least flattering of them all and on the screen seemed drab. Project Runway runs on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the Lifetime channel.
