'Project Runway': A great designer goes home

The challenge for the designers on Thursday night’s episode involved designing for older women, who would not only be the client, but also the model. And from the get go, several designers struggled with the challenge, to the point where one just changed the entire look.

Patricia was in a team where the other two designers received the highest scores and that alone saved her because what she created lacked any sort of aesthetics, shape, or form.

Stanley on the other hand went down to business and created a beautiful outfit that was elegant, sophisticated and comfortable and earned him the win. Richard, who was in a team with Stanley, also was able to create a design that received much praise.

But to the surprise of many Amanda and Benjamin found themselves in the bottom, the collaboration was missing, the designs were unimaginative and unflattering on the models. The prints they chose for their designs were not elegant and they fail the challenge horribly, both were on the bottom and Benjamin at the end was sent home.

Project Runway’ runs on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Lifetime.
