Project (apocalypse) Caravan arrives in Central Florida next week

Family Radio's Project Caravan has made its way into Florida. Arriving in Jacksonville today, Harold Camping's wacky advance-warning system for the coming apocalypse is touring our great state alerting saints and sinners that this world will come to an end on May 21, 2011. It is time to repent, decrepit pit of retirement and theme park haven.

"Blow the trumpet...warn the people," Ezekiel apparently said (33:3). This columnist wonders if they will actually have trumpets.

The "Caravan"--several "stunningly lettered" trucks displaying their endtimes warning (what, walking around with placards is too old school?) will be in Daytona Beach, January 28-30, and in Orlando, January 31-February 4.

Tune in to Family Radio online here for possible sighting information (though when this columnist listened in, it was constant monotone sermon). Jacksonville residents can tune in to WJFR 88.7 FM.

On their recent visit to Raleigh, North Carolina, "your Project Caravan brothers and sisters in christ Jesus our lord," blogged the following:

The first Day in this great city did not immediately reveal promise insofar as tract distribution goes. Perhaps it was because it being a Sunday, many of the people were in church. Whatever the case, we continued caravanning around and around until team leader Fred was satisfied that we had done what we came to do. After we made our presence known, We went over to Durham and Let the people of Durham know that Judgment day would begin on May 21, 2011.

Yes. We're all sure that the vast majority of the people of Raleigh were in church. Bless their apocalyptic hearts.

If you take one of their pamphlets, they'll take your picture and put it on their website.

Watch for Project Caravan, Central Florida. She's headed our way!

Awesome! I hope they come to my neck of the woods.

I hope they all drive off a cliff.

I really think Project Caravan is as crazy as they come. You and noone else knows when the Lord shall returne. So why are you going around predicting something that you know nothing about. Please stop making yourself look like an ass. The bible says no man know the day nor the hour when he shall appear. Not even the angels. This is totally uncalled for and unexceptable.
