This event is part of a comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum for young African-American men and women with entrepreneurship aspirations. The program is designed to provide collegiate entrepreneurs a real-world experience that includes conceiving a business idea, writing a business plan, and presenting those plans to a panel of judges, and to infuse innovative entrepreneurship practices into the curriculum of HBCUs.

The event will include a Business Plan Competition with $22,500 in cash prizes as well as a dinner on April 11, 2014 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. The keynote speaker will be Don Frieson – Executive Vice President of Operations, Sam’s Club.
