The life of singer Amy Winehouse will be featured on E! True Hollywood Story: Amy Winehouse, which will air on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, according to a July 27, 2011, press release from E!. The special originally aired on February 9, 2008, so this is a rebroadcast.
E! True Hollywood Story: Amy Winehouse examines the life of the talented singer including her incredible rise to fame, undeniable talent, turbulent relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil, her outrageous behavior and her tragic death on July 23rd, 2011.
Rehab singer Amy Winehouse found dead in London
The special, which originally aired on February 9, 2008, features interviews with the men and women who worked with Amy Winehouse throughout her career including Femi Temowo, the musical director for her hit song "Rehab;" Ian Barter, a former guitar player who played with Winehouse; Lloyd Beiny, a former co-worker at the World Entertainment News Network, as well as respected journalists who closely followed the singer's career.
Amy Winehouse, 27, was found dead at her home on Saturday, July 23, 2011. The autopsy results have been reported as inconclusive, but Winehouse had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.
