I had an opportunity to interview Dr. Timothy Morley, Medical Director of Womens Healthy Hormones who is the formulator of Thin Balance Products.

What are the top menopausal ailments the Thin Balance products aim to remedy?

A fact of life for every woman is that they will pass through menopause. Menopause creates a hormone imbalance that gives one a myriad of symptoms. These include weight gain, hot flashes, night sweats, cramping and blotting, insomnia, irritability, forgetfulness and foggy thinking, among many others.

What is unique about your formulations of the Thin Balance products that alleviate menopausal symptoms?
I have developed a line of products that naturally alleviate those symptoms. I use the term “naturally” because there are many herbs and dietary options found in nature that have been well-known to help. I have created products that contain the perfect combination of the highest quality and best natural blend of elements to assist in alleviating menopausal symptoms.

What are these ingredients, and how do they work in the body?

Valeran Root: This has been known for thousands of years to provide a calming effect for agitation, and sleep effect for insomnia. It also alleviates hot flashes.

Damiana: This is a natural herb from Central America that helps with anxiety, depression, headaches, and is most well-known as a natural aphrodisiac.

Don Quai: This is an herb found in the high altitudes of Japan and China. It has been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine to alleviate menopausal symptoms including hot flashes and night sweats.

Black Cohosh: This, along with flax and chaste berry, are well-known to provide a natural hormone support. These help with hot flashes, cramping, and have well-known anti-inflammatory properties.

Maca: From the highest quality Peruvian plant, this can provide energy, decreased stress and increased libido.
We also provide the highest quality ayurvedic herbs which have been long known to alleviate these hormone symptoms.

Lastly, certain amino acids, such as L-arginine and L-histamine along with the proper elements such as calcium and magnesium, help with alleviating muscle dysfunction and increase energy.

This Examiner was given samples of Dr. Morley's supplements along with THIN BALANCE Decadent Chocolate Hormone Balance Support Shake for Women. I am happy to report that this powder is gluten free and vegetarian. In addition I had been taking Celexa, a prescription drug, to help with my night sweats and I have been able to wean off of them.
