Professor suspended over photo of 'Game of Thrones' T-shirt

A professor has been suspended after he posted a photo of his daughter wearing a "Game of Thrones" T-shirt that was apparently considered offensive. According to a video report by Broken News Daily, the art and animation professor at Bergen Community College in New Jersey posted a photo of his daughter wearing the shirt that read, "I will take what is mine with fire & blood," which is a popular quote from the HBO show.

The professor posted the photo of his 7-year-old daughter on Google+ and evidently the school thought it was threatening. The dean of the school (who follows the professor on Google+) took the photo personally. The professor was called in to a meeting at the school and he tried to explain that the shirt was just from one of the most popular shows on television (and a great book series) but it didn't matter. The school decided to suspend him without pay -- and he was forced to take a psychiatric evaluation.

It's better to be safe than sorry nowadays...
