According to Friday's KRON 4 News, a professional San Francisco, Calif., area dog walker left eight dogs inside of a parked van while she went shopping.

Witnesses heard the distressed barks and cries coming from within the van, which was parked outside of a Nordstrom store at a Bay area mall; animal control was alerted to the situation as well. When an animal control officer arrived, seven dogs were found to be tied in the back of the van, and one in the front of the van - the dogs had been inside of the parked vehicle for over two hours with no food, water or open windows.

The woman who operates the dog walking business, 4 Your Paws Only, was not cited, but her dog-walking license will be taken away next week.

The sun was out and temperatures were in the 70s on the day that the dogs were left inside of the dog-walker's vehicle.
