Created by an "everyday" mom of four, the Bobalong can end the constant frustration of the dropped bottle and lost pacifier, especially in the car or the stroller. The Bobalong is actually a baby vest with interchangeable sleeves that works to keep your baby's bottle and pacifier safely within their reach and off of the ground... once and for all.
The Bobalong is designed for babies who can sit up on their own (ages 6-18 months) and are gaining independence in self-feeding. This product is not yet available in retail stores in the Atlanta-area, but it can be bought online for $29 (with free shipping). It comes in seven vibrant colors, and with two coordinating and interchangeable sleeves.

I think this is really an ingenious contraption...but it is a contraption. The vest is something you Velcro on the baby and then attach the "sleeve" or holder that you need (either pacifier or bottle). It looks a little odd but it works! This is a great travel product for babies. If you're flying with a baby who needs a bottle or pacifier, you need the bobalong. My children always threw their things and besides the embarrassment of trying to hunt for it, I just cringed at how dirty it may be. You can wipe things off as best as you can but you know if there's no soap and water, then they're not really clean. This product makes sure that the things that go in your baby's mouth stay dirt-free.
The Bobalong is also great for long car trips. When your baby falls asleep and drops the bottle, or gets mad and throws the pacifier, you can't just stop the car and get it for her or him every time. And if your baby is like mine, a gigantic crying fit will ensue if you don't. With the Bobalong, the bottle or pacifier can't be dropped, thrown, or even snagged by an older sibling. Score!
While this is isn't a necessity, the Bobalong is a great addition to the baby products that may be crowding your home. I would highly recommend it for parents who will be traveling with a baby or who's baby spends a lot of time in the stroller or car seat. The Bobalong is very well made and doesn't seem to bother the baby in the least. So, if you have a little Greg Maddux (Atlanta Braves pitcher extraordinaire), this is a must-have product for you.
