Producer Marc Cherry Opens Up About "Desperate Housewives"

There's not a ton of information that producer Marc Cherry is sharing quite yet, but he did talk a bit about the character of Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman).  At the conclusion of season five, Lynette thought that her cancer may have returned--turns out she was pregnant.

In a TVGuide.com article, Cherry discusses where this storyline could go in season six of the dramatic series:

And abortion will not be an option. “I could never do that,” Cherry says. “The network would never let me.”  But he adds, “On TV you can always have a miscarriage.”
