When asked about working on the "Britney Jean" album, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald responded in very short tweet: "only one..." Gottwald means he only produced one song for Britney this time around.
Gottwald and Spears first worked together on her 2008 album "Circus." He produced the hit title track which later led him to executive produce Britney's follow-up album "Femme Fatale" and its songs "Hold it Against Me," "Till the World Ends" and "I Wanna Go." Aside from working with Spears, Gottwald has produced big hits for Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Ke$ha and many other pop stars. Most recently, he worked on Miley Cyrus' no. 1 single "Wrecking Ball."
In other "Britney Jean" related news, singer-songwriter Sia confirmed on Twitter that will.i.am and co-produced Spears' next single "Perfume" with Chris Braide. Sia wrote the track with Spears and it will follow "Work B**ch." Will.i.am is serving as executive producer of "Britney Jean." Other confirmed collaborators on Spears' new album include Madonna "Ray of Light" producer William Orbit with a song entitled "Alien."
"Perfume" is set to be released on November 5. Spears' "Britney Jean" album will later drop on December 3.
