Producer defends use of autotune by Britney Spears

Britney Spears remains as attractive and talented as ever and yet she has been under attack by some critics over her ways of producing some of her music. Her producer William Orbit has defended Spears after unedited versions of "Alien" leaked online reported E! Online on July 14, 2014. Orbit has gone as far as defending Spears multiple times on Facebook.

Orbit has written that if you're a pro warming up is very important. He sees this like a runner doing stretches. It takes time to work out and get things done properly. He says he never expected this debate about Spears to get so heated. Although autotune has always been a hot issue Orbit feels the primary thing to keep in mind with Spears is that tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of people enjoy her music.

Orbit is absolutely right in saying no software ever invented or can manufacture the charisma which Spears has. Orbit said Spears is actually far more awesome than he previously thought. And he stresses what this is all about is the feeling. Feeling good and getting a musical high is what Orbit sees as being important and with Spears this works.

Orbit has also said the word "con" appears to him to be completely inappropriate in dealing with Spears. Sure, many things we are told to trust are misrepresented to us to get money out of us. But in the universe of music Orbit is right in pointing out that nobody has ever been harmed by a Britney Spears record, unless of course a stack of them fell on someone.

Orbit is the sound engineer who worked on "Alien" with Spears and he has made headlines in the entertainment world coming to the defense of Spears. Orbit cleared up in Facebook posts that the leaked audio tape of Spears' singing which was widely blasted by critics earlier in the week was really just of Spears doing warm-ups reports ABC News.

Orbit has a point. It appears the bottom line is regardless of how Spears may choose to get herself together to perform what counts is she always ends up putting on a spectacular performance. The harsh criticisms of her work have been totally unjustified. Spears is simply among the most alluring, sexy, and creative performers in the entertainment world and however she may choose to warm up appears fine with her fans.
