Katie Holmes isn’t too happy that her new movie is getting a lot of bad buzz. The actress does have one person on her side though.

The day after her movie, “The Son of No One” was slammed during Sundance, people reportedly ran out of the theater way before the movie ended, one of the producers of the crime drama came to her defense.

Cassian Elwes told Us Magazine:

"Despite Katie's few scenes, she was fantastic in the role! We've already received three offers on the film. We're 100 percent behind her and the entire cast's performances in this film."

According to Elwes, the projectionist accidently turned the lights on two scenes before the movie was over.

Elwes added:

"There wasn't a mass exodus. The people who did see it, liked the film."

The 32-year-old actress is included in the list of people who loved the film. Elwes added that Holmes was really great in it.
