Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach."

And his Twitter response was as follows:

This is going to be so fun."

In season 4, he teamed up with singer Usher to help with his team of artists. The two were no strangers before then, previously working on Usher's "U Don't Have to Call" and "I Don't Know."

Williams has had countless hit songs on the Billboard charts, including his current No. 1 single "Happy," that has been on the charts for 12 weeks thus far.

He and longtime friend Chad Hugo (under the group name Neptunes) also did songwriting and production for countless artists, including Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 U;" Clipse's "Grindin';" SWV's "Use Your Heart;" Beenie Man's "Girls Dem Sugar;" Total's "When Boy Meets Girl;" Mase's "Looking at Me;" Noreaga's "Superthug;" Mystikal's "Shake Ya A**" and "Danger;" ODB's "Got Your Money;" and Babyface's "There She Goes;" and Beyoncé's "Blow" and "Superpower." His solo writing credits include Wreckx N’ Effect's "Rump Shaker."

On top of being known as a heartthrob for his boyish good looks, Williams is equally talented as a rapper and singer.

Williams has also been on a slew of features, including Prince's "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold;" Jay Z 's "Excuse Me Miss;" Snoop Dogg's "Beautiful" and "Drop It Like It's Hot;" Ludacris' "Money Maker;" Madonna's "Give It to Me;" Daft Punk's "Get Lucky;" and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."
