We always wonder whether it makes sense to spend more money for organic produce. In our article Top 12 Toxic Foods, we showed the produce that is considered to be the most toxic for us to eat. There are some produce items that do not absorb chemicals and pesticides as easily. These are a the twelve least toxic fruits and vegetables...also known as the “Terrific Twelve”. These are produce items that are least likely to contain toxic chemicals and are considered safer to purchase non-organically.

Bananas; Cabbage; Broccoli; Papaya
So feel free to purchase the non-organic produce from the list above without wondering what it's doing to the health of your family.
