Below is this week’s pro wrestling Q & A here on Examiner.com. If you would like to ask a question, feel free to send me an e-mail at wes_sims22@yahoo.com.
With CM Punk vs. The Undertaker set for Wrestle Mania 29, any way this match lives up to the standards of ‘Taker’s past five ‘Mania bouts?
It the last five years, ‘Taker has had very good to classic matches with the likes of Edge, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. With that said, I expect his match with Punk this year to be no different as Punk could work a match similar to what HBK did in 2009 and 2010. Whether it will be as good as those two bouts with HBK remains to be seen.
With TNA going on the road for Impact starting tonight, will this lead to the company finally competing with WWE?
It’s definitely a step in the right direction for TNA as the ‘Impact Zone’ in Orlando had become a bit stale. It will take some time but TNA is looking good right now with Bully Ray as the World Champion and being revealed as the president of the Aces of Eights. In addition, they have a roster full of very talented guys who with the right storylines and feuds could help TNA start to tighten the gap between themselves and WWE.
Will there be a Money in the Bank match at Wrestle Mania?
It doesn’t seem likely as the MITB pay per view usually features two MITB bouts. With that said, it would be nice to have one as there are a number of stars without a match just over three weeks from the event.
