Pro Wrestling Alliance is a new promotion in the Sacramento/West Sacramento area. They held their first ever show Saturday night bringing pro wrestling action to the city. The card was held in the Collings Teen Center. The show was kicked off by the M.C. of the evening El Flaco Loco. "Ultra Girl" Brittany Wonder and The Sheik opened the show. High flyer Virgil Flynn and Jeff Cobb battled it out in the second match that was action pack with Flynn winning by pin fall. SPW stalwart Sir Samurai wrestled "Lover Boy" Nate Andrews. The "Riv" tangled with "The Plus Sized Playboy" Vargas and CJ Kurz lost to "Big Ugly" J.D. Bishop by pin fall.
After the intermission, Homeboy Quizz wrestled Norther California legend Vincenzo Massaro in a back and forth match that had Quizz wining by pin fall. A tag team match was next with The Suburban Commandos taking on Jesus Kruze and Mike Rain. The California Black Sheep showed his true colors by turning on Kruze after the team lost to The Commandos. El Chupacabra and CJ Edwards went the distance in a wild high impact match. After being granted an extra five minutes, the two went at it for several more minutes before El Chupacabra won the match by pin fall. The main event was for the SPW Heavyweight title. Champion Bobby Hart retained his title against challenger Wade Hess.
An excellent show from the local Northern California wrestlers. The audience was very enthusiastic and a good crowd showed up for what would be the first of many shows being held by the Pro Wrestling Alliance. The next show will be held in March.
