Pro wrestling awards 2011: Promotion of the year

Promotion of the Year

WWE

In America there is no bigger, better, more successful or more entertaining pro wrestling company than WWE, as it simply called these days.  Even when the company has a bad year (like many claimed they did in 2011) they are still the standard and symbol of excellence.  With two cable programs synched up on NBC Universal networks, two online programs and a successful re-launch of Tough Enough, they once again reigned supreme with televised wrestling. Now with the announcement that they are launching their own complete network the company continues to be the juggernaut in the pro wrestling industry.

With TNA Wrestling being the only logical number two to WWE, it is evident that the company  will continue to rule the wrestling world.  WWE can afford to make the mistakes that TNA cannot.  The WWE moniker is literally synonymous with pro wrestling in many people’s eyes, and that is something that cannot be taken for granted. WWE also arguably has the best roster of professional wrestling talent employed under one roof at any given time.  Independent organizations like ROH, Dragon Gate USA, PWG, CHIKARA and EVOLVE have carved out their own niches throughout the country but WWE once again stands tall.
