'Pro-Wrestlers vs Zombies' to begin filming in Parkersburg this weekend

The town has been buzzing about it for weeks now, and this is the weekend that "Pro-Wrestlers vs Zombies" begins filming in Parkersburg.

The film stars "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Matt Hardy, Howard Stern Woman of the Year Reby Sky, and Penthouse Pet Taya Parker, among others.

Pittsburgh native Cody Knotts will be directing the film, and will be shooting at many locations including Fort Boreman, City Park, and the Wood County Jail.

In an interview with the Parkersburg News & Sentinel, Knotts said:

"The film is about big, powerful men and hot babes killing zombies with good, old American violence. There are no fancy karate moves, just traditional kicking and slamming heads on tables, which is why we call it 'old violence.'"

While the major roles have been cast, the production is searching for zombie extras. Anyone interested can send an e-mail to Vincent Ruffalo at vmruffalo@yahoo.com to be added to the e-mail list. Zombie shooting schedules are overnight, so be prepared and come already in zombie makeup and costume.

This is a very exciting project for the Mid-Ohio Valley. West Virginia has one of the highest tax credit rates in the entire country, and more and more filmmakers are looking towards the Mountain State to film.
