"Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies" is a brand new Z-grade horror movie that stars a number of real life wrestlers batting hoards of zombies in an abandoned prison. reported on March 19 that Troma Studios will distribute "Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies" for its DVD release.

This is the perfect match.

Troma Studios has released many cult favorite scholocky horror films such as "The Toxic Avenger," "Class of Nuke 'Em High," and "Sgt. Kabukiman." Their most prestigious release was "Tromeo & Juliet," which was written by James Gunn, the same man who is now directing Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy."

"Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies" stars a number of famous professional wrestlers including Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Matt Hardy and his wife Reby Sky, Kurt Angle and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas.

Douglass has been talking up the new movie for awhile. The man who really kickstarted ECW almost two decades ago was supposed to take part in a recent hardcore wrestling event but backed out to finish this movie.

The plot of "Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies" sees Shane Douglas recruited by a dubious promoter to bring some star name talent wrestlers for a show at an abandoned prison only to find he has brought back a hoard of zombies in a plot of revenge against one of the wrestlers.
