Pro-life undercover operative stings NJ Planned Parenthood

A pro-life organization with a reputation for undercover stings against abortuaries has now stung a Planned Parenthood facility in central New Jersey.

LiveAction, led by famed undercover operative Lila Rose, released an 11-minute video (embedded at left) to YouTube this morning containing hidden-camera footage captured in a visit to the Perth Amboy center, operated by Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey. Two operatives visited the facility posing as a prostitute and her procurer. A woman identified on the video as Amy Woodruff, manager of the Perth Amboy clinic, greeted them and spoke to them for most of the time on the video.

In the course of that conversation, Ms. Woodruff (assuming that this is she) made several statements that could potentially incriminate her in the following offenses:

• Aiding and abetting the sexual trafficking of minors. Sex trafficking is a federal offense punishable by imprisonment for 10 years to life, and any person who aids and abets someone in committing a federal crime risks the same penalty as does the original offender.
• Aiding and abetting the entry into the United States of a person or persons lacking a visa.
• Aiding and abetting prostitution, by offering the "procurer" some business advice on how to "manage" a prostitute requiring an abortion.

The "aiding and abetting trafficking" results from her statements to this effect:

We want as little information as possible.

Though she acknowledged the clinic's duty to report any sexual-transmitted disease in a girl 14 years of age or younger, she indicated that the clinic could avoid reporting if the patients simply lied about or "forgot" to state their ages.

As further described in this blog entry that accompanies the video, "Woodruff" makes several other damaging statements:

If they’re minors, put down that they’re students. Yeah, just kind of play along that they’re students–we want to make it look as legit as possible.

In the context of referring patients requiring an abortion to a clinic called the Metropolitan Medical Association, she says:

Their protocols aren’t as strict as ours and they don’t get audited the same way that we do.

In the context of advising any prostitute to wait two weeks following an abortion before servicing a client:

Waist up, or just be that extra action walking by [by way of advertisement].

Rose herself made this summing-up statement:

This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Planned Parenthood intentionally breaks state and federal laws and covers up the abuse of the young girls it claims to serve. Time and time again, Planned Parenthood has sent young girls back into the arms of their abusers. They don’t deserve a dime of the hundreds of millions they receive in federal funding from taxpayers. Congress must cease funding and the Department of Justice should investigate this corrupt organization immediately.

Planned Parenthood has already demanded that LiveAction be investigated by the FBI. LiveAction has sent full, unabridged footage to US Attorney General Eric Holder, New Jersey Attorney General Paula Dow, several FBI officials, and various other federal and State law-enforcement agencies.

This release occurs in another interesting context: Governor Chris Christie fought and won a veto war with the New Jersey legislature over his deletion of $7.5 million in funding for "family-planning" clinics, many of whom performed abortions.
