Pro Bowl selections for 2013 reveal six Seattle Seahawks made the team. Leading the 2013 Pro Bowl selections for the Seahawks are cornerback Richard Sherman, free safety Earl Thomas, and strong safety Kam Chancellor. A report from ESPN on Friday (Dec. 27) reveals that quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Marshawn Lynch, and center Max Unger also got voted into the game.
It's interesting to point out that this is the first time Sherman has been voted on to the team, despite getting named first-team All-Pro last season by the Associated Press. The other five players were all voted into last year's game, making it a perfect 2-for-2 during Wilson's time in the league. This will be the third appearance for Thomas and the fourth for Lynch, who have proven to be two of the best players at their positions in the entire NFL.
What might be a bit surprising to fans about the 2013 Pro Bowl selections is that it does not include Seattle Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka. He was 31-of-33 in field goal kicking this season, including one that had been blocked and one miss against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16. That's a pretty good season for Hauschka, but maybe he will get recognized for his talents next year.
