Pro Bowl Aloha Style (Photos)

While Kaepernick, Flacco, and the Harbaugh brothers are getting ready for Super Bowl XLVII, a celebratory game of some of football’s finest will be taking place this Sunday, January 27 at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The Pro Bowl, one of Hawaii’s only professional sporting events, was played at the Aloha Stadium for thirty consecutive seasons from 1980 through 2009, and then returned in 2011.
As the 2013 Pro Bowl approaches, football fans are gaining excitement and are in need of a festive release. Here are some pre-game events:

Friday, January 25, 2013: Pepsi Concert For The 2013 Pro Bowl Featuring SNDCLSH - DJ Lupe Fiasco and DJ Sky Gellaty at The Republik

SNDCLSH is a music collaboration between longtime friends Lupe Fiasco and Sky Gellatly. Whereas Fiasco is best-known as a Grammy-winning MC, and Gellatly as a marketing strategist (Managing Partner, Team Epiphany) and artist manager (13th Witness, DJ Neil Armstrong, and FUTURA), the SNDCLSH is their collaborative vision on DJ performance, electronica, philanthropy, and design.

Their independently-released EP, Don't Drop The Flag, was created to accomplish two primary goals: on the one hand, to serve as a philanthropic mechanism to raise money for children in need in Chicago (all of the album's profits are being donated to children in Chicago), and to introduce the pair's evolving take on electronica.

Concert starts at 8pm. Tickets are $30 General Admission for 21+. For more information, visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhBSjc837FE or http://stupiddope.com/2012/11/06/sndclsh-lupe-fiasco-sky-gellatly-clocks...
