The following is a list of the prize money up for grabs for women professional golfers at the 2014 Wegmans LPGA Championship, which is taking place from August 14-17, 2014, at the Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, New York (south of Rochester).

The Wegmans LPGA Championship is one of five majors played annually on the LPGA Tour. The tournament has been played yearly since 1955. Mickey Wright holds the record for most wins in the LPGA Championship with four (1958, 1960, 1961, 1963).

Kathy Whitworth, Nancy Lopez, Patty Sheehan, Annika Sorenstam, and Se Ri Pak have all won the LPGA Championship three times each. The only really active LPGA player today with two wins in the LPGA Championship is Yani Tseng (2008, 2011).

LPGA stars with wins in the LPGA Championship include Cristie Kerr and Suzann Pettersen. Other stars playing the 2014 LPGA Championship include Lexi Thompson, Paula Creamer, Belen Mozo, Beatriz Recari, and Stacy Lewis (click any one of those names for hot photos of that golfer).

Also in the field are newcomers like Brooke Pancake, who is trying to make a name for herself in women's golf in 2014. Michelle Wie will unfortunately not be here as she is nursing a wrist injury.

The total prize money up for grabs for the women golfers at the 2014 Wegmans LPGA Championship is $2.25 million. That is the same amount of prize money that was up for grabs at last year's LPGA Championship.

The prize money shown below is set in stone for the winner. The other amounts could be slightly off based upon ties and how many women golfers actually make the cut this year.
