"Private Practice" will soon end its run on Channel 15 in Tempe. On Thursday, Jan. 17, Spoiler TV shared a sneak peek for "Private Practice" episode 6.13 titled "In Which We Say Goodbye." In this sneak peek, Addison is freaking out on her wedding day. She makes it clear that she cannot get married, but it isn't clear why. The sneak peek quickly reveals that Naomi Bennett, played by the returning Audra McDonald, has not yet arrived at the wedding. As soon as she walks through the door, Addison is ready to get married. The scene continues on to show Naomi walking down the aisle, and her ex-husband giving her a look. The new woman in his life also shows she notices the woman's arrival.
TV Line did reveal a new spoiler for the episode. Previous spoilers revealed that Sara Ramos would guest star on the series finale, and TV Line shared these new spoilers about her appearance:
"Amy Brenneman told Matt Mitovich that Violet’s final storyline is 'this beautiful, metaphorical thing' in which a patient of five-plus years has trouble saying goodbye. 'She’s ready to move on, but she’s like, 'I need you.' And I say things like, 'We’ve been meeting together once a week for a little more than five years…. You’re going to be OK,'; Brenneman previews. 'And I am Shonda [Rhimes] talking to our sweet audience.'"
