In “Evil Dead,” five friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
“Evil Dead” opens Friday, April 5 at movie theaters throughout the Valley. However, Phoenix Movie Examiner readers can see a free advance screening of the film 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 at Harkins Arizona Mills.
