German Princess Theodora Sayn-Wittgenstein made a scene with her drunken rant while she was at a party and faced consequences in a Scottish court. She's in the news for making racist comments about killing Muslims, stripping, and assaulting staff and police at a University of St. Andrews Oktoberfest party back in March.
Daily Mail reports that the princess is also related to a senior German officer decorated by Hitler. Theodora pleaded guilty in Dundee Sheriff Court a number of crimes including assault and disorderly conduct. She admitted that her conduct "brought shame on herself and her family." She was fined £1,000.
Princess Theodora Sayn-Wittgenstein's drunken rant took place at the annual Oktoberfest event held at Kinkell Byre every March. She went berserk after hanging out with friends when she attempted climbing a fence before stripping off a portion of her outfit, the report says. When she was taken to the first aid room, she made the racist comments then attacked a security guard and first aid worker.
Huffington Post UK reports that the 27-year-old princess told first aider, Farah Jasmin Hussain, this:
"While I was doing my nails this morning I was wondering how many Muslims I could kill."
She had to be restrained by other security guards until police arrived and handcuffed her.
Police put leg restraints on Sayn-Wittgenstein so she would get into the police car. She lashed out at the officers, believing she was being kidnapped.
Theodora's drunken rant didn't impress the court's Sheriff Mark Stewart QC said. He doesn't care about her royal background: He says:
"The overwhelming impression one gets is of disorderly and violent conduct occasioned by far too much drink for someone who was unble to properly deal with that level of intake.
"I deal with you in the same way as I would deal with anyone who behaves in this way. These comments you made are unacceptable - they would cause nothing but division, concern and unhappiness."
As Huffington Post UK reports, ironically, this princess has a degree in international relations and once lived in Jordan. This makes Theodora Sayn-Wittgenstein's drunken rant even more berserk!
