Lisa Marie Presley is an American singer-songwriter also known as the Princess of Rock 'n' Roll. She is the only child of musician Elvis Presley and his wife, Priscilla Presley (formerly Priscilla Beaulieu).

Like her father, Lisa Marie has pursued music, a singing career.  The results may not be the same, but the albums, chart climbing, tours and going platinum are impressive ~ quite father-like after all.

Unlike her father, Lisa Marie has not acted in anything known of, although music videos and commericals must count for something!

In 1997, Presley recorded a duet of the song "Don't Cry Daddy" with her father using the original recording of his vocals and mixing it with her new vocals. It was never released for marketing, but the music video was shown at the 20th Anniversary Elvis concert in Memphis.

In 1998, she signed a deal with Capitol Records. Her debut album was originally scheduled for release in 2000, though it took longer than expected for Presley to write every song on the album.

On April 8, 2003, Presley released her debut album, To Whom It May Concern. It debuted #5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was certified gold in June 2003. Presley wrote all the lyrics and co-wrote some of the melodies.

To promote it, she presented a concert in the UK, something that her father never did. The album's first single, "Lights Out", reached # 18 on the Billboard Hot Adult Top 40 chart and #16 on the UK charts.

Eight months before the album's release, Presley performed "Nobody Noticed It" at the 25th Anniversary Elvis concert. The song, which was featured on the album, was written as a tribute to her father.

Presley released her album, Now What, on April 5, 2005. It debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. It was certified gold in November 2005. Presley co-wrote 10 songs and recorded a cover of Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" (the album's first single, which hit #36 on the Billboard 100 AC singles chart).  The Ramones' "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow".

The song "Idiot" is a jab towards different men in her life. Unlike her first album, Now What included a Parental Advisory sticker. Both albums, as of 2006, have been certified platinum.

Lisa Marie married four times, the second time was to Michael Jackson in May, 1994.  That marriage lasted 20 months.  Upon his June 25, 2009 death Lisa Marie, on her MySpace blog stated,

I was 'gutted', and I felt I had "failed" to help save him from 'the inevitable'..."

Too bad she has no talent. Princess by blood and savvy money -- not by heart and soul.

She is NOT known as Princess of Rock N Roll. Maybe she's tryin gto cook up that title but no on in the world calls her that.
She'll never be Michael Jackson OR Elvis Presely. She should be happy to have the money and her hateful little self!

She dumped Michael and refused to have his kids. And trashes his private stuff in pulic. P. U. Not a princess.

I "USE" to be proud of Lisa and how I "THOUGHT" she would grow up to be more like ELVIS. Yes, Lisa you look like you DAD but your a spoiled selfish bitc-. Your heart and soul must be from your mother, cause your DAD would be disappointed with how you turned out. ELVIS was everything good & giving. Lisa your rot & black. Elvis fan's love your DAD and Presley Grandparents, Not you or your gold digging mother. They divorced Priscilla get your own life.
