Princess Marie tells little Prince Henrik about baby

HRH Princess Marie continues to work while she is pregnant with her second child.  This week the Princess, who is married to HRH Prince Joachim, was present for a Bridge Association opening in Tønder.  The group works for the welfare of children, a cause to which the Princess devotes much of her time.  But at the event the Princess commented that the two-year-old HH Prince Henrik has been told he is about to be a big brother:

“I've tried, but I do not think he understands it. He is still so small, but maybe he understands a little bit.”

They still have a few months to get the young Prince ready for the big day, as the Princess is due in late January.  As for the topic of the event, it is the Princess’ goal that a Bridge is present in all communities that need one:

“When parents are unable to take care of their children, it is important that there are organizations like the Bridge.”

The newborn Prince or Princess will be tenth in the line of succession to the Danish throne.
