Princess Diana Bride Dolls after Diana's Wedding

As reported in Princess Diana dolls through the years; a look at Princess Di dolls past & present, Part 1, after the royal wedding of Charles & Diana in 1981, several doll companies created Diana bride dolls. Doll manufacturers have continued to make dolls of Princess Diana in her wedding into the present day. Click on the links and see the slideshow below for photos of some of the Princess Diana wedding dolls.

Danbury Mint Princess Diana Bride Doll

The Danbury Mint launched a new doll series in 1986 with the release of their "Princess Diana Bride Doll." The doll is approximately 19” high and wears a very good replica of Diana's wedding gown. The doll's gown is made of taffeta and embroidered lace. The train is approximately 5 feet long to represent the 25 foot train of Diana's wedding gown. Her tiara and earrings have been authentically reproduced and each contains a real ½ point diamond. The doll’s head, arms and legs are made of fine bisque porcelain. Her complexion is hand-painted. The doll originally cost $187.50.

A partial list of some of the earliest Princess Diana wedding dolls would include the following dolls. Please note all dates are approximate:
