Princess Diana was totally convinced that someone was trying to kill her and this is something she said many times to her friends and associates before her death. Diana was convinced that “the men in grey suits,” who she claimed followed her around, were out to get her, according to Yahoo News on Oct. 19. An incident revealed in a new book sheds more light on Diana's fears.
This particular incident that is making a buzz today was revealed by Diana's friend, Simon Simmons. Simmons said that Diana called her after a return trip from a Melbourne doctor’s office back in November 1995. Diana believed someone tampered with the brakes on her Audi because when she went to step on them, they would not work. She told Simmons that she believed someone was trying to bump her off.
The royal author, John Morgan, claimed in his book “The assassination of Princess Diana” that Diana was positive the failed brake incident was a warning from her “powerful enemies,” the men in the grey suits.”
This is not the first time rumors of Diana’s concerns about the “men in the grey suits” were revealed, so maybe there’s something to it? Apparently some of her close friends believe that there was something going on enough to worry Diana.
One thing to remember is that the news revealed today is coming from people who can never evident their reports because Diana is dead. There is no one to go to for 100 percent proof that this did or did not happen because it was Diana that supposedly said these things.
Simmons is not the only one that reports Diana's concerns about possibly being bumped off. There is strength in numbers especially since none of the people reporting this have much to gain for their reports, except of course the author of the book. But he is getting his reports from a variety of other people, who don't have anything to gain. Only one person knows what truly happened and she is no longer here to tell her side of the story.
