Prince William sat down to discuss his new role in life, that of fatherhood. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their newborn son on July 22, 2013 in London. The first child for Kate and William, many have speculated how the child will be reared and raised touting a traditional approach by the royal family. According to CNN.com on August 19, 2013, Prince William has had quite a bit of hand on time with little Georgie, including changing his first diaper, or nappy as William called it.
"He's a little bit of a rascal, I'll put it that way. He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure, but he's doing very well at the moment." stated William to CNN's Max Foster.
In what appears to be a rather honest account of being a new father, Prince William mentioned several times how his son has no desire to sleep. Apparently Prince George is doing his royal duties and making his mom and dad work hard!
"Well, as a few fathers might know, I'm actually quite looking forward to going back to work (to) get some sleep. So I'm just hoping the first few shifts I go back I don't have any night jobs."
Prince William is a pilot for the Royal Air Force and plans to return to work soon, to catch up sleep. The candid and refreshing interview was captured for a special airing in September on CNN.
Catherine will be handling Prince George on her own(with the help of her mother) soon enough - and according to William, the new parents cannot wait to show him off to the world!
"Prince William's Passion: New Father, New Hope" premieres on CNN on September 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
