Prince William may be getting more stylish, thanks to some help from his fashionable wife, but his 64-year-old father is still considered more stylish. GQ released its annual list of Best Dressed Men in Britain today (Thursday) and the Duke of Cambridge came in at number 37. His father, Prince Charles cracked the top 10 landing at number 8.

"Downtown Abbey" star Dan Stevens won the top spot beating out Robert Pattison and David Beckham. Beckham, rather surprisingly, landed just one spot ahead of Prince William and behind "Homeland's" Damien Lewis, David Cameron, and Elton John.
While Prince William's style doesn't necessarily deserve a higher rank on the list, it does raise a few eyebrows that he's 29 spots behind his father. The Duke's style has noticeably evolved (here's the photo proof) since the April 2011 royal wedding. In fact, as Examiner.com previously reported he's getting some help from Kate Middleton who's been pointing him toward more tailored suits and trendier looks often by designers Spencer Hart and Richard James who've dressed Diddy, Tom Cruise, Usher and Daniel Craig.
