Kate Middleton proved today (Friday) she's certainly no "plastic princess." The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was spotted with some pretty funny facial expressions as she and Prince William attended the Gold Cup Day at the Cheltenham Horse Races. Examiner.com has obtained photos of Kate and William at the races, and while there are some regal shots, there are plenty of silly and endearing moments involving the couple.

Even the usually straight-faced Prince William got in on the fun as a friend was snapped pulling his ear as the duchess giggled from behind.
It's not the first time a sporting event has evoked some funny faces from the royal couple. The world learned just how passionate they are about sports during the 2012 London Olympics when Kate was caught nervously biting her nails and an unguarded Prince William was snapped in a rare PDA with his wife.

In an unannounced appearance, the royal couple attended the fourth and final day of the Cheltenham Festival in Cheltenham, England. Thanks to the chilly temperatures there was not royal baby bump sightings today, but their facial expressions certainly made up for it. Even in the box where they watched the race, Kate Middleton kept her bump, nicknamed "our little grape" covered in her tan Joseph coat. She paired it with the same dark Lock & Co Betty Boop hat she wore for the 2012 St. Patrick's Day parade and a pair of brown Stuart Weitzman Zipkin boots, according to Us Weekly.
While recently all eyes have been on the duchess' growing baby bump, it's hard not to notice the silly expressions on her face when, on days like today, when she's simply glowing.
