Apparently Prince is a huge fan of the Fox hit "New Girl." On Jan. 14, the New York Daily News reported that Prince will be making a guest appearance on the show and the idea was all his.

"New Girl" will air right after the end of the Superbowl on February 2. That episode is going to be huge and it will feature Prince playing himself. The episode centers around Jess and her friends trying to crash a party at a mansion. Prince will be there and of course, hilarity will ensue.

According to executive producer Brett Baer, Prince wanted to do the show because he is a huge fan. Baer even told E! News, "he contacted us last season because he's a huge fan." This all happened last year when Prince contacted Zooey Deschanel and Hannah Simone directly, asking to be a part of "New Girl."

Immediately following the post-Superbowl episode of "New Girl" will be another comedy smash-hit, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" which just won a Golden Globe award for best comedy. Considering the huge Superbowl audience, these post-game shows should be seen by plenty.
