Prince Royce has big plans for his first English album. To break into the mainstream U.S. market, he's hoping to work with some of the biggest stars.
"I would definitely love to work with somebody like Jay Z or Rihanna. I’m actually working on my first English album so I’m going to have some collaborations on that, so I’m excited," he told OK! magazine in an interview, posted on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Besides his English album, he'll be busy being a coach on a reality singing competition.
"I’m excited to coach on 'La Voz Kids' which is the Spanish version of 'The Voice' with kids, so for me it’s been fun working with kids and mentoring them and getting them to know the ropes early in their careers. It’s going to be an exciting year for me!" he said.
Prince Royce already has some experience with reality TV as he guest performed on season three of "The X Factor" in support of Carlito Olivero, who wound up third behind Jeff Gutt and winners Alex & Sierra.
Interestingly enough, while he performed in front of Paulino Rubio on "The X Factor," he may not get that chance when it comes to "La Voz Kids." Paulino has filed a lawsuit against Telemundo, claiming that they wrongfully backed out of a contract for her to reprise her role as a coach/judge in the show's second season.
