Jackson, who is the oldest of three siblings adopted by Michael Jackson, claims to have a passion for entertainment and wants to jump start his career by becoming a part-time correspondent for entertainment news. Jackson's first stint as an interviewer aired on "Entertainment Tonight" on Monday. Jackson says he's looking to gain the necessary experience to become a "producer, director, screenwriter and actor."
Jackson is getting his feet wet by covering a junket outside Los Angeles for Disney's "Oz the Great and Powerful". The movie is about a small-time magician who winds up in a fantasy world where he must decide whether he wants to get by on his questionable ethics or become a great person of integrity. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on March 8 and was directed by Sam Raimi and stars Ashton Kutcher's main squeeze, Mila Kunis, and James Franco.
Prince's interview with Raimi and Franco will air all week on ET', featuring the first son's request for career advice from the veteran director and actor.
ET's correspondent Brooke Anderson interviewed Jackson and said, "You're only 16, but you seem so much wiser," to which Jackson responded, "It's all because of my dad."
Because Jackson is a minor, his hours will be limited but from his obvious ambition and desire to learn, the sky may be the limit for his potential career in the entertainment industry.
